Nice, clean lodge in the middle of the woods. Close to the cosy town of Strathpeffer and beautiful hiking options nearby. Quick response from owner when we had an issue with the heather. Well-equipped kitchen, lovely rooms, and peaceful surroundings. Shop, restaurant, and café available in the nearby Square.

We felt incredibly comfortable during our stay and had no complaints.

Our stay at Rowan Lodge was absolutely worth the money. The room was clean and tidy, and we loved the cozy cabin vibe. The location was simply magical, tucked away in a beautiful woodland with birds visiting the terrace. The staff was caring and welcoming, even providing Valentine's sweets for our stay.
The hotel breakfast could have been improved with more options.

I had an amazing stay at this cabin tucked away in a magical woodland. The location was stunning and there were nice walks right on the doorstep. The cabin was well-equipped and had everything I needed, including a washing machine. The host was very caring and welcoming, even leaving a selection of Valentine's Day sweets for us. The cabin was incredibly clean upon arrival, which was greatly appreciated. The small town nearby was charming and there were plenty of beautiful hiking options in the area.

Wow, what a gem of a place! Rowan Lodge offered fantastic value for money with its well-equipped kitchen, lovely rooms and beautiful forest surroundings. We enjoyed the peaceful serenity and even had birds visiting our terrace. The nearby square had everything we needed, from a great restaurant and café to a delightful deli. And don't miss the Ardival harp near Roed Castle, it was amazing!
As for breakfast options, it could have been improved with a wider variety of choices.

Although there were a few cleanliness issues, they didn't distract from our overall experience. The owner was responsive and quickly fixed the heating issue we had upon arrival. We also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of a selection of Valentine's sweets. The cabin's location in a wooded area was stunning, and we loved watching the birdlife from the window. despite some minor drawbacks, we had a great time and would recommend Rowan Lodge for a relaxing getaway.

It would have been helpful to have area trail maps readily available to explore the surroundings. a stronger Wi-Fi connection would have enhanced the downtime experience.

I absolutely loved my stay at this lodge. Everything was clean and tidy when I arrived. The bird feeder outside the window was a lovely touch, and the peaceful atmosphere was delightful. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of crockery and utensils. The location, surrounded by woods and with beautiful walks nearby, was perfect. The lodge also had a washing machine, which was very convenient. this place had everything I needed for a great break.
