Nice, clean lodge in the middle of the woods. Close to the cosy town of Strathpeffer and beautiful hiking options nearby. Quick response from owner when we had an issue with the heather. Well-equipped kitchen, lovely rooms, and peaceful surroundings. Shop, restaurant, and café available in the nearby Square.

The location of the lodge is absolutely stunning, nestled in a magical woodland with picturesque walks right on the doorstep. the cabin itself is well equipped and clean, providing everything you need for a comfortable break. the host is attentive and caring, making sure that all guests feel welcomed and valued.

The living area, especially the kitchen and dining table, can be quite small, which may be inconvenient for larger groups or those who prefer more space.

Our stay at Rowan Lodge was absolutely worth the money. The room was clean and tidy, and we loved the cozy cabin vibe. The location was simply magical, tucked away in a beautiful woodland with birds visiting the terrace. The staff was caring and welcoming, even providing Valentine's sweets for our stay.

The hotel breakfast could have been improved with more options.

Wow, what a gem of a place! Rowan Lodge offered fantastic value for money with its well-equipped kitchen, lovely rooms and beautiful forest surroundings. We enjoyed the peaceful serenity and even had birds visiting our terrace. The nearby square had everything we needed, from a great restaurant and café to a delightful deli. And don't miss the Ardival harp near Roed Castle, it was amazing!

As for breakfast options, it could have been improved with a wider variety of choices.

Our stay at Rowan Lodge was an enjoyable break in a quiet and peaceful location. The cabin itself was cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Although there were a few cleanliness issues, they didn't distract from our overall experience. The owner was responsive and quickly fixed the heating issue we had upon arrival. We also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of a selection of Valentine's sweets. The cabin's location in a wooded area was stunning, and we loved watching the birdlife from the window. despite some minor drawbacks, we had a great time and would recommend Rowan Lodge for a relaxing getaway.

The location of the lodge is truly beautiful, nestled in a serene forest that provides a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. the kitchen is well equipped, providing all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. the rooms are lovely and clean, with bird feeders attracting a variety of fascinating bird species. the nearby shops in the Square offer a convenient option for dining out or grabbing a bite to eat. the lodge also offers the opportunity to explore the surrounding area, with attractions such as the Ardival harp near castle Roed easily accessible.

It would have been helpful to have area trail maps readily available to explore the surroundings. a stronger Wi-Fi connection would have enhanced the downtime experience.
